Class 1 is the Reception Class at Blackawton Primary School. We have lots of fun learning through play in our exciting classroom and also outdoors in our dedicated Early Years play area and mud kitchen. During the day there are also structured times for Read Write Inc phonics and Maths Mastery. 

 

During the year our learning is themed around the topics

Spring 1 Build it  Spring 2 Out and About

Summer 1 Lifecycles  Summer 2 Our Amazing World

 

Forest school is on Thursday morning and we do PE on Monday and Friday.
